The GLS Language School on the GLS Campus in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg neighborhood is looking for experienced Chinese (Mandarin) instructors (m/f/d) for a long-term position starting in August 2026.

You bring the following:
- the legal requirements for working as a freelance teacher in Berlin
- a college degree or equivalent qualification
- Certification in Chinese as a Foreign Language
- Teaching experience—ideally at all levels
- A structured approach to work and a positive, dynamic demeanor
- Enjoying Teaching
- Native-level proficiency in Chinese
- Experience teaching exam preparation courses
- Knowledge of German and/or English

For our“Language Trips Abroad and School Stays Worldwide”department, we are looking for a working student to serve as a back-office assistant (m/f/d; 20 hours/week) starting September 1, 2026. This position is open exclusively to students who would like to gain experience in a day-to-day office environment.
We’d like to have you work in the following areas (focus areas):
- A wide variety of tasks related to booking language trips abroad and high school stays
- Customer support for initial inquiries and follow-up questions during the booking process
- Correspondence with international partner organizations and schools around the world
- Research, Evaluations, and Analyses (Focus on Marketing)
- Updating Documents
- Assistance with organizing our preparatory workshops
For these tasks, you’ll need:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program (at least 1.5 years remaining)

For the Department High School Study Abroad Programs & language trips abroad , new internship opportunities will be posted starting in March 2027. It is important that the internship take place before the student completes their education. Unless it is a required internship, the internship should last 10 weeks. We’re happy to discuss individual requirements. An internship in our department is ideal for anyone who wants to get a feel for day-to-day office work and enjoys working in an international environment.
We’d like to have you work in the following areas (focus areas):
- Administrative tasks related to the application and booking process for a language trip abroad or a high school exchange program (including processing registrations, issuing invoices, and handling application documents)
- Supporting employees with day-to-day office tasks across programs and countries

For these tasks, you’ll need:
